I don't know if this is where it originated, but I first heard it from a friend who owned an occult book store many years ago in Seattle. (He also had on the counter a box of postcards with pictures of Crowley, which he said were for "when you care enough to send the very beast".) The coven I was working with at the time decided to pick it up and run with it, and wrote a song of several verses. Someone posted it on the web, I don't know who, but I don't think it was any of the people who co-wrote it, because when they listed the names of the authors they misspelled both my first and last names. Anyway, I can't seem to find it online anywhere, but looking for it is how I wound up here.
